Strings Actually
Strings Actually is more than your typical string quartet; the four-piece ensemble is a vibrant music-making machine that performs classical, jazz and contemporary music with the verve and style intrinsic to each piece. They would be the perfect musical addition to your wedding or other special event - Strings Actually can also be a string trio, a string duo, a violin/piano duet or cello/piano duet.
The players of Strings Actually draw from a wide and diverse experience pool, having performed with many different ensembles and performers, including: DeepBlue Orchestra, Queensland Ballet Orchestra, Doch Gypsy Orchestra, Tommy Tycho, Tommy Emmanuel, and Human Nature. The players have performed at Sofitel Hotel, Sydney Opera House, Judith Wright Performing Arts Centre, Sirromet Winery, Viper Room (Hollywood, L.A.), Brisbane Powerhouse, Victoria Park Golf Complex and the Queensland Performing Arts Centre among many others.
